These lately days the Island of Japan has suffered a devastating earthquake on the east coast of the island. The earthquake has caused a sunami with waves of more than 10 feet and the death of more than 1,500 people (confirmed). The sunami has flooded a small village near Senday. 

This terrible event has also caused the explosion of two nuclears.

After 24h approximately, of the occurrence of the earthquake, experts have been recorded over 150 aftershocks of it.

At this time, people in Japan have been evacuated to safers places.

It's very useful to keep your files save and wherever you go you can take a look to them.

• Allows all type of formats (pdf, pptx, doc, jpeg...).
• It's able to use your files anywhere you go, it's in the cloud.

DISADVENTAGES

• Anybody can see your files, just the ones you have invited before (by e-mail, etc.).

DIPITY

It's a free tool to create very precise and interactive time lines, where you can attach multimedia items such as audio files, videos or documents.Once created a time line, the interactive tools stays up-to-date, and can be embedded in blogs, social networks, and websites.

ADVENTAGES

• It's a free tool. 
• Allowed to select the information and organize it in chonological order.
• It's a very visual tool, it's very useful to teach.
• Very useful to order events in time.

 DISADVENTAGES

• You can't download a time line and save it in your server. 
• It doesn't allow bold, italic or underlined, because its text format is very simple

PREZI

Prezi is an online presentation application where you can create presentations with new designs. A narrative tool that uses just one canvas, instead of slides.

It’s a free web-site. 

ADVENTAGES

• Each slide is different from the previous.
• Very dinamic
• Realy easy to use.
• Allows to attach videos, animations...
• You can zoom a specific part of the slide.
• You can upload and share the presentation on the web

It’s a web site where you can control the inventary of all the files in your computer, organize and edit digital photos.  Picassa interacts directly with Picassaweb to placed  photos to the albums.
You can download it by free.

• It’s a free programme and easy to download. 
• Sort all the photos you have in your computer. 
• Each time the programme works, it searches every new photo on your computer. 
• Lot of languages to choose.

DISADVENTAGES

• It’s a simple tool, so its functions are very reduced.

Vimeo is a social network, based in uploading hugh definition videos. This site allows you to share and save digital videos, and viewers can commen. To upload videos you have to own an account. It doesn’t allows comercial TV shows, videogames demostrations...

ADVANTAGES

• Shareing videos online as altrenitive of “YouTube”.
• A very simple tool.
• You can upload videos until you increase the limit (2GB).
• High definition videos.
• Advanced aspects of privacy.

DISADVENTAGES

• There’s just one languange. All the web site is in english.

It has a straight copyright system.

In blip.tv there are a lot of useful gadgets: there are some graphics that show you how many people have seen the video (or audio file) and how much money you have earned.

• Allows shareing, saving and uploading documents
• Users don't have to download documents to upgrade them.

DISADVENTAGES

• The language is english, and it's not able to change it.

It's a free space where users can send PowerPoint and OpenOffice presentations, then they are stored and converted into Flash to be viewed on-line. Once up and published, viewers can add comments.

• It's able to share presentations with everybody on the Internet.
